We invite you to the THIRD Deep Democracy conversation in a series of three to be held in Peckham. 

The first conversation took place on 10 October at the Peckham Library and the second event on 7 November at the Bells Garden Community Centre.

At the first conversation, community members, police officers, a local counselor, local youth workers and local youth attended and engaged in a conversation beginning with the question "why did the riots start?"  

Participants found the conversation to be useful as they learned about others' opinions which led to new ideas about what could be done to address current issues in the community. 

The second conversation was attended by a broader cross section of London and also included some local residents and community activisits.  This conversation started with "what is the opportunity provided by the riots?" 

The first conversation was a beginning and the second conversation reached some deeper levels of frank conversation and common understanding.  We expect even more openness and understanding at the 3rd conversation. 

We would like to include a wide range of interested parties including people who work directly with disadvantaged youth, police, politicians, youth, activists, concerned citizens and elderly citizens.

The only requriement for participation is that you are willing to listen to other people and different opinions.
